Take notes without interrupting your flow.
Type lets you quickly jot things down with the timestamp attached, without interrupting your flow.
Very interesting use of text files. I want to integrate this app into my workflow somehow.

Oh, very interesting, thank you!

@ChrisJWilson I integrated it into my workflow using this automation: Setting up Type as a quick capture interface for my TaskPaper journal – Decoding
@zsbenke Just use Stickies. The cool bit is that it can just 'float' above all apps and can be semi-transparent too. It will remain in place even when switching apps or Desktops/Spaces.Paste in images or whatever.Stickies is absolutely ancient and has seen little love from Apple for decades… but it’s still so useful, even just as a universal clipboard. If you want a timestamp you can make a simple Shortcut to set the clipboard to date/time and have it available in the MenuBar.
@gsymon I love and use Stickies, but for a completely different thing: it’s my temporary text holder app.
Also, I don’t have Stickies on iOS. I can append to my text files using Drafts as well.
